About:

 I specialize in rural /garden cemeteries and other burial grounds of NYC. I’ve been employed as a guide by Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn since 2017, and I've created a number of tours and Zoom lectures for them. I give cemetery tours in Manhattan for Bowery Boys Walks.  They debuted my "Lower Manhattan Cemetery Stroll" this past April and will roll out my "Body Snatchers of New York" tour in late September. I can give those tours privately as well. I'm also available to lecture on  a wide range of topics including cemeteries, Egyptian-Revival architecture, body snatching, and phrenology.

I'm currently working on a graphic novel about the global history of body snatching.

I've created a number of tours for Green-Wood Cemetery and the Bowery Boys.

"Revolutionary Spirits" is a two-hour trolley tour focusing on Revolutionary War figures buried there, some of whom were distillers. We then take the trolley to Industry City for a whiskey tasting. This tour happens at least once a month on a Saturday at 3:30 PM. "Egyptomania at Green-Wood" looks at Egyptian Revival architecture and themes, both within the cemetery and throughout New York City's history. This tour happens once a year in November. Tickets can be purchased on their website: www.green-wood.com/www.green-wood.com/

Lower Manhattan Cemetery Stroll This tour explores the burial history and practices of seven distinct cultures through time within New York City.
Along the way, we’ll decode cemetery symbolism and funerary practices, uncovering the hidden, and sometimes controversial, gravesites of New York. Body Snatchers at work Body Snatchers of New York New York has been the setting for some infamous cases of body snatching over the years, and sadly, those times are not over. This tour centers around a series of body thefts that occurred in New York from the 1780s to the present day.
